The Fairview Cheesery produces a range of over 50 cow’s milk and goat’s milk artisanal cheeses,
including white mould, blue mould, feta and cream cheese styles. To ensure there is something for everyone, we strive to offer traditional cheeses such as Brie and Camembert, while our winning innovations such as our White and Blue Rock cheeses help place us ahead of the herd.
All our Fairview Cheese is made with non-animal rennet and are certified Halaal and Kosher. All that’s left for you to do it taste and enjoy!
A traditional recipe, full flavoured, soft white mould cheese with a creamy ‘mushroom’ flavour. This Brie will ripen from the outside towards the centre. Enzymes produced by the white mould interact with the cheese proteins to give the characteristic soft texture and a favour that will intensify with ripening. This is an ideal Brie for cheese boards and cooking.
A traditional recipe is used to produce this Camembert. The firm texture at beginning of shelf life will change to a soft and bulging texture towards end of shelf life. The flavour intensifies with age to a characteristic earthy, mushroom aroma.
This Jersey cows’ milk Camembert is mild and creamy, with an even, supple texture and characteristic savoury flavour. Fairview’s Ready to Eat cheeses are produced to be ready to enjoy as soon as you purchase them. So don’t worry if you have left it to the last minute to stock up for your cheeseboard!

A full fat blue veined Gorgonzola style cheese with a mild flavour and rich creamy texture. Blue Tower is made with more cream than our famous Blue Rock, resulting in a rich texture. It also has a slightly higher moisture content, making it a bit softer and more decadent.
A full fat blue veined Roquefort-style cheese with a rich flavour and a firm yet creamy texture. A lengthy four- to six-month maturation ensures that the enzymes produced by the mould interact with the fats and proteins in the cheese to create the characteristic taste and flavour.

One of the first cheeses produced at Fairview, Crottin is a full flavoured, firm, white mould cheese made to a traditional recipe. This cheese has a goat flavour that intensifies with age.
A soft, goat’s milk cheese with a characteristic flavour. Chevin is one of the first cheeses that was made at Fairview and is the most popular goat’s milk product. It is still made using the same traditional recipe, with the curd pressed in muslin bags to remove just the right amount of whey. Won Gold at the 2024 South African Dairy Awards.
