12 Jun Winter Holidays | Kids Art Classes at Fairview!
As the cold winter days arrive in full force, there is one bright silver lining for most school children – the winter term break! While drinking hot chocolate and cosying up under blankets watching family favourite movies definitely sounds tempting, we also know that it might lead to some cabin fever after a few days!
That’s why Fairview invites you to bring the whole family to the Fairview farm on Sundays during the school holiday! Once again, we’ve enlisted the talents of Fern from Art4Kids who will be offering kids art activities in the afternoons at the Gallery Studio (just behind the Beryl Back Master Tasting Room).
Starting from this Sunday 17th June (just in time for Father’s Day) and every Sunday during the school holidays, we invite children to take part in a ceramics art afternoon event. Spend the day ceramic painting a unique art piece!
There is no age limit, and your younger children (1 – 6 years old) are welcome to take part in creating an art piece by imprinting their unique hand print for a design. The ceramic class is specifically aimed for ages 7 years and up.
At the studio:
1. Choose your ceramic piece – side plate/plate/platter
2. Pay
3. Create your own design or carbon copy a design onto your plate
4. Paint without restriction! Be free and create something totally your own and unique

Ceramics from R120 and up
R 30 for 3 colours.

Classes will take place from 11am – 5pm every Sunday throughout the winter holiday.
Fern will contact you to collect your unique ceramic art piece once fired, which takes 2-3 weeks.
Find your way to the studio (pass through the Fairview Wine Tasting Room and head to the back!) for a day filled with ceramic painting this Sunday and every Sunday this winter holiday!
