16 Jan Goatshed’s New Look
Run by talented Chef SJ Nel and warm-hearted Restaurant Manager Shannon Riley, Fairview’s beloved country-style eatery, the Goatshed, received a recent revamp at the end of last year.
With a new logo, menu options and decor, the idea was to give the popular space a breath of fresh air, and cement the farm-to-fork philosophy. As much as possible, all the food that is served in the restaurant is grown, collected or made right here on the farm – from the artisanal baked bread, cheeses, eggs to the jams and preserves. As of most recently, the lamb, beef and pork we serve is all ethically reared right here on our pastures.
Open 7 days a week from 9am – 5pm, we invite you to come and try some tasty new items on the menu, such as the Fairview Brunch Tray (available all day), Stir Fry Salad with pork or beef, and a home-made pie of the day, with flavours such as Fairview Lamb served with crispy potato wedges and side salad. Of course, do not fear – Goatshed favourites still continue strong, such as our cheese platters and lamb curry.
Importantly, the Goatshed website now sits on Fairview’s brand new site, and allows for direct online bookings. Click here to explore our menu or secure a table!
